Waikato Draught is once again a proud sponsor of the Tough Guy & Gal Challenge in 2009. The Tough Guy & Gal is a unique, off-road extreme running event including swamp crossings, a crawl under barbed wire, various natural and man-made obstacles, and a whole lot of mud.
The 2008 Tough Guy was so popular, they had to add an extra date. Registration numbers for 2009 have been even bigger, with three legs for the first time:
- Ti Papa Equestrian Centre, Manukau – July 5th
- Lakes Ranch, Rotorua – August 8th
- Lakes Ranch, Rotorua – August 15th (sold out)
This is not a course for the light hearted, but it is garanteed to be one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences of your life.

Rotorua: Lakes Ranch, 15 minutes east of Rotorua off SH30. Follow the signs to Hells Gate Thermal Park - Lakes Ranch is directly opposite.
